THE GIFT OF AUTUMN
Hello everyone, I hope you have enjoyed the summer despite the weather changes we've been experiencing.
Throughout the summer and come to think of it, particularly through this year, there has been a feeling of personal and collective inner-change unfolding beneath the surface. Perhaps we have had to surrender to the insecurity of 'not knowing', trusting that the inner process will naturally unfold. It is only in retrospect that we can start to see glimpses of a bigger picture emerging. I think, particularly during these global challenging times, this chaotic energy can even be used as a helpful force asking us to anchor deeper into who we are. The insecurity of inner questioning (such as, 'Who am I?' or 'What is my purpose?') creates new spaces to open up within us where new light and possibilities can enter.
As the active light of summer begins to gently fade, we gradually move into the gifts of autumn. As the leaves begin to fall, Autumn invites us to 'shed' our external world so that doors to our inner-world can be opened.
Autumn becomes the natural time to meditate, to study and to create. My 'dharma' is to birth a deeper spirituality within myself and to also support others in this quest. In this life, I am integrating the energy of crystals as they hold 'the light' in physical form. They can access higher dimensions which can be used for self-healing and the development of higher consciousness. The photograph, I took in my garden of the quartz crystal above, is a perfect example of how crystals can 'hold' not only physical light but (once we are spiritually connected) spiritual light as well.
For those of you who would like to open yourself to discover more of your spirituality, I am offering several workshops this Autumn. There is an exciting new workshop entitled 'Crystal Day' (I call it a crystal immersion!) and I am currently working on a workshop to help connect us to the underlying spiritual energies of nature which I aim to bring to you in the spring.
