COMING HOME TO NATURE

Hello everyone, I hope this finds you well. It has been a little while since my last post, so apologies for not reaching out sooner. Over these past months I have found myself connecting more and more with nature, experiencing a gradual but persistent 'pull'. Here, on the edge of Dartmoor National Park, I am blessed to be living within an ancient, temperate rainforest which is teeming with life. There is a pure, uninterrupted energetic link here dating back millions of years. I am living within an environment which has a mind of it's own. I am constantly surprised how plants pop up in the least expected places. There was even a large, healthy grasshopper on the kitchen work top this morning! I find now that I am becoming part of the 'nature family' here, experiencing a loving inter-relationship. I find myself giving freedom to flies trapped in windows, yet later grumbling at the deer who insist on nipping the buds off my roses! Whilst in meditation, sitting on the large granite boulders in the garden, I open to the spiritual energies around me. I experience flowing, formless energies moving around, through, and into the various elements of the landscape. The overriding feeling - on both sides - is one of joy that the human and spiritual worlds have re-connected after a long absence. In the past, our ancestors were conscious of and used to working with these energies which helped them to understand where and when to plant their crops and also know when to leave the land well alone. It is important therefore to pause before we decide to do anything to the land, asking ourselves, 'What does the spirit of nature want? Or what does the spirit of this plant want? The answer usually comes in the form of a feeling which you can then interpret. As 'active' humans in the physical realm, it is our role to do the physical work, the spiritual task is to provide and maintain the energetic blueprint to support the myriad physical forms. I have noticed that if I consciously communicate with these forces whilst gardening, there seems to be an enhancement of the physical energy of the plants. I also feel nature is coming closer to me - a feeling of being all-one. As we all know, the Earth is in great need at the moment as it is experiencing tremendous imbalance. Maybe what I have written here inspires you to take some 'actions' of your own. Perhaps we can ask, 'What does the Earth want from me'? What can I offer? Every link in the chain (however small) is vitally important. CRYSTALS TO HELP There are certain crystals which can help us connect to nature. If you have attended a workshop, and know how to work with them, you might like to use fluorite, tree agate, moss agate, grounding with petrified wood. You can work with them individually to start with; then all together. Once attuned, we can also use prayer which is very powerful in itself.
